Last weekend was a long weekend so my sister decided to come home. My brother was already scheduled to go home for the weekend. Since we all had nothing to do on Monday, 30 April, we planned to go to the beach for the day. My dad and brother left earlier to go to the office and to the venue for their beach football, respectively. We followed a few hours later and we got to La Union at around 9 AM.
We headed to Costa Villa since Justine’s beach football tournament was being held there, along with the other events for the Labor Day weekend (Labor Union 2018). We rented a cottage, ate an early lunch then cooled ourselves in the warm waters. The water was very relaxing but I couldn’t say the same for the sand because it was so hot, it almost burned our feet. #Sandburn
After showering and cleaning up, my sister and I went to have our milktea fix at the Surf Shack at Moonleaf. (Hello CJH Moonleaf, we miss you!) Then we spent minutes walking, looking for LU Town Center where Tali Ti Amianan was located.
Of course, I could not pass up the opportunity to buy some things. The shop felt like a little branch of Common Room PH. It also featured works of local artists.
It was fun, but very tiring. And so, on the last day of the long weekend, we just spent the day at home, to rest.
